We were starting the process of placing our home on the market and the 1st realtors we met with was Sheila Davis & Linda Thompson of The Norton Group. They asked us a series of questions and then told us about themselves and The Norton Group. They were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about Lake Lanier homes and the US Army CORPS regulations. They brought various comps and we went through them all. There was no time frame. They were not rushed to get to another appointment. We felt very comfortable. We did the walk through and explained different parts of the home. Linda was taking thorough notes as we did the walk through. We went back to the table as we were interested in what they felt was a good market value for our home. We agreed with their assessment as it was higher than what we had anticipated. We had planned to interview other realtors; however, after spending the time with Sheila & Linda we knew that was not needed. One of the conditions of giving them our listing is we did not want a sign in front of the home as well as a lock box. They agreed and we signed the papers on the same day. The pictures and the videos were top notch and provided a great overview of our home. Linda was extremely communicative. She always provided 24 hours’ notice before a showing. She arrived early to the appointments. She was responsive to every question. She checked in often. She provided feedback after each showing whether it was positive or negative. We never had to worry. And all of this was during COVID. I would highly recommend utilizing Linda Thompson and The Norton Agency for selling your home.
