Bathrooms-no matter how well you winterized the bathrooms at the end of last summer you may find that a few things may need extra attention. Stains may have developed from the lack of use and a little elbow grease and a pumice stone will do the trick.
Kitchen-make sure the kitchen is clean and that all surfaces are wiped down and ready for use.
Dusting and cobwebs-even if your home is closed down for the winter dust and cobwebs can find a way in. A quick run through with dust cloth and cleaner will get rid of this problem.
Outdoor area-check all your outdoor furniture and equipment to make sure everything is in working order.
Check Plumbing and HVAC Systems-before you plan on spending any significant time in your lake home make sure the plumbing and HVAC systems are operational. Change filters and run water through the pipes.
These are just a few tasks that you may want to complete in order to make sure your home is in tiptop shape. Customize your to-do list to to meet your particular needs.
Don’t put off your Lake House cleaning and maintenance efforts…….it will be time to put your toes in the water before you know it!
